Wokeria Crab Pasta House is a seafood haven nestled in Boracay's D'mall, known for its vibrant atmosphere and eclectic decor. The restaurant's walls are adorned with crab shells, each holding heartfelt reviews from patrons, creating a unique and interactive dining experience.
Many reviews highlight the signature Chili Crab, praised for its tenderness and flavorful sauce, although some guests suggest it could benefit from a spicier kick. The Garlic Butter Prawns have also garnered rave reviews, with guests recommending multiple prawn dishes during their visits. The attentive service adds to the charm, as staff offer assistance with cracking open crabs, making the dining experience seamless.
However, feedback indicates a mixed bag with other menu items, such as the Crispy Pata and Stuffed Grilled Squid, which could use refinement. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning can detract from the comfort of the meal, particularly in the warm Boracay climate. Nonetheless, for seafood lovers, Wokeria's offerings, especially their whole crab dish, are compelling enough to outweigh the heat—and many diners leave with fond memories, and a commitment to return.

Based on 903 reviewsWokeria Crab Pasta House is widely praised for its fresh seafood offerings, particularly its signature crab dishes and garlic butter prawns, which are noted for their rich flavors and generous portions. The restaurant’s unique ambiance, decorated with crab shells featuring guest notes and reviews, adds a distinctive and memorable touch that resonates well with visitors. Customers appreciate the attentive service, especially help with navigating the crab-eating experience. However, some feedback highlights the relatively high prices and the lack of air conditioning, resulting in an uncomfortably warm dining environment. Overall, Wokeria is celebrated for its flavorful seafood and engaging atmosphere, making it a popular choice in Boracay’s dining scene despite minor comfort concerns.
If you are the type of person who decides where to eat based on the reviews, then Wokeria is definitely for you. You just need to look at the walls of this reataurant and you will see all the reviews literally hanging. Each crab shell is a review or a note or a greeting from their guests. Not to be left behind, we also did our own review in our own crab shell. But first we had to order crabs! We got ourselves their best seller Chilli Crab and our little one fish fillet. The crab was huge about half kilo and they served it whole and prepared it in front of us. I'm not a crab person but this one i enjoyed it much. The sauce was good but could be better if it was a little spicier. The crab meat was tender and steaming hot. If I only knew it was this good then we would have ordered one more crab dish. As for the fish fillet, our kids didn't enjoy it much so I ended up finishing it. Service crew was friendly and attentive.
Fresh crab picked right in front of you! I was really surprised by the sauce in the crab seafood platter. I was surprised, just wish they used a higher quality liquor in margaritas.
GET THE GARLIC BUTTER PRAWNS!!! In fact, get all the prawn options. The flavours here are some of the best I’ve had from fish food. Stayed in Borocay 3 nights and had dinner here every single night, it was that good. All sides/accompaniments were delicious too. I never leave reviews but the food and customer service compelled me to. Would highly recommend!
Tried Wokeria after seeing its high rating and large volume of reviews. The ambiance is quirky with crab shells lining the walls featuring notes from guests and celebrities. It’s a bit warm inside since there’s no air-conditioning. We didn’t go for the crab dishes—honestly, the pricing was a bit steep for us. Instead, we ordered one of their bundles: Pancit: Flavorful and generous with seafood toppings. Sizzling Gambas: One of the highlights. Shrimps were a good size, and the sauce had a nice chili kick, though it leaned more on the veggie side. Crispy Pata: Inconsistent texture. Some parts weren’t crispy. Some were very chewey and tough so we ended up leaving some pieces untouched. Stuffed Grilled Squid: Overcooked and tough. Honey Butter Chicken: Breading was too thick and hard. Meat inside was dry and on the smaller side. Pork Sinigang: Broth had great flavor, but the pork had too much fat. Unfortunately, we even found some pig hair in one of the cuts, which was unexpected in a restaurant setting. It was a mixed experience. Some dishes delivered, while others missed the mark. Hopefully, a bit more attention to preparation and quality control can improve the experience.
This was the first restaurant we tried in Boracay, known for its signature whole crab dish. The flavor was fantastic—rich with spices—and the crab itself was huge. Since we weren’t sure how to crack it open, the helpful staff took care of it for us, making the experience much easier. The only downside was the heat. Even in winter, it was uncomfortably hot inside, and the restaurant doesn’t have air conditioning. I found myself sweating more than I ate, which was a bit of a letdown because I really wanted to fully enjoy the meal. Overall, the food and service were great, but the lack of cooling made it hard to relax. Still worth a visit for the crab alone—just be prepared for the heat.
Outstanding seafood’s dishes and wonderful services in D’mall. I love the quality and the freshness of the food. My family and I ate dinner here every night while we were in Boracay. I was even able to eat my favorite laksa there. It was tastier than Singapore. Highly recommended!!
After looking for Bulalo -a famous philipino dish for long, I finally found it here. I ordered beef Bulalo (Peso 430) with steam rice (Peso 50). The freshly cooked bulalo was very yummy. Beef was very tender. Quantity was enough to serve for 2. Staffs were very attentive. Restaurant was clean. And it offers sea food along with philipino dish.
